Dr. Vincent Lam

Dr. Lam’s decision to pursue dentistry was not at the forefront of his mind when entering college. It wasn’t until he started volunteering at dental clinics throughout San Diego that he developed an interest and passion for the field. Being able to help underserved populations led him to appreciate the opportunity to aid others, so he began to shadow his childhood dentist.

Earning his X-ray license allowed him to take on bigger roles within the office and surrounding clinics, gaining additional experience while completing his undergraduate degree. After earning his bachelor's and master’s degrees from the University of California, San Diego, he enrolled at Temple University of Philadelphia to earn his dental doctorate.

He graduated in 2014 and began diving into various continuing education courses to expand his skills and knowledge as a licensed and reliable dentist near White Center. Some specialty areas he has undergone additional training in include CEREC same-day restorations, oral sedation, dental implant placement, and more.

When he’s not busy leading the team at Seahurst Smiles, you’ll find him spending time with his spouse and practicing photography. He also enjoys barbecuing, traveling, and learning about new technologies (especially those he can incorporate into his dental office).
